Frequently asked questions

A trip was not recorded

iPhone: check that location access is set to Always and that Motion & Fitness is allowed for Körlogg in iOS Settings, and that Low Power Mode is off. Android: check that location is set to Allow all the time with precise location, that Physical activity and notifications are allowed, and that battery use for Körlogg is Unrestricted (Samsung and some other phones close apps in the background otherwise); the checklist under More › Automatic logging shows what is missing. Trips shorter than 300 metres are ignored. You can always add a trip by hand with the plus button, or log a saved route with one tap.

The distance is not the same as my odometer

GPS measures the road driven and can differ by a few percent. Tap the trip and edit the distance; the app keeps the GPS value visible so you can see what was changed. Enter your odometer at the start and end of the year on the vehicle screen and the report shows the difference.

Two trips were merged into one

Open the trip. If the car stood still for more than two minutes along the way, the app offers to split the trip at that stop.

Does the app drain the battery?

Between trips the app only listens for motion and significant location changes, which costs almost nothing. GPS is on only while you drive; iOS shows the location indicator and Android shows a "Trip in progress" notification while it is.

Can my employer see where I am?

No. There is no server and no account. Your employer only sees the report you choose to export and send.

How do I cancel the yearly subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought from. On iPhone open Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on Android open Google Play › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, and cancel there. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period. A free trial that is cancelled before it ends is never charged.

I bought Pro and it is not active on my new phone

Open More › Pro and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID (iPhone) or Google account (Android). A purchase belongs to the store it was made in: a Pro bought on iPhone does not carry over to Android, or the other way round.

What is included in Pro?

PDF and CSV export in Skatteverket's layout, several vehicles, odometer reconciliation, saved routes with one-tap round trips, and the milersättning report. Logging trips, one vehicle and the on-screen summary are free with no trip limit.

Is Körlogg an official Skatteverket app?

No. Körlogg is an independent app. It follows the content Skatteverket recommends for a körjournal, but it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Skatteverket.

Which languages are supported?

Swedish and English. Exports are in Swedish, because that is the language the körjournal is normally reviewed in.

Privacy and deletion

See the Privacy Policy. To delete purchase data held by our processor, see Request data deletion. Trips are only on your device: delete them in the app or by deleting the app.
