Welcome to Körlogg, a körjournal (mileage log) app for drivers in Sweden, developed by an independent sole proprietor based in Sweden. By downloading, installing or using Körlogg (the "App") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Körlogg detects and records car trips using your phone's location and motion sensors, lets you classify trips as business or private, and produces reports (PDF and CSV) laid out after the information Skatteverket recommends for a körjournal. It also calculates mileage reimbursement (milersättning) from rates you can edit.
Important — not tax advice, not an official tool: Körlogg is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Skatteverket, any employer or any accounting firm. The reimbursement rates in the App are defaults that you are responsible for checking against current rules. Whether a körjournal is accepted is decided by the authority or employer that receives it, not by us.
GPS and motion detection are not perfect. Trips can be missed, merged, split or measured a little short or long, especially in tunnels, cities with tall buildings, or when the phone's battery-saving settings limit background activity. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting the log before relying on it, and for entering odometer readings. We recommend comparing the log with your odometer regularly. We are not liable for tax, reimbursement or other consequences of an inaccurate or incomplete log.
Your trips are stored on your device . Deleting the App deletes the local data. Swedish rules require a körjournal to be kept for several years; export your reports and keep them yourself. We have no copy and cannot recover deleted data.
You agree not to: use the App to log trips you did not make or to misrepresent business and private driving; reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the App; resell or redistribute the App or its output as your own product; or use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
The App offers an optional Pro upgrade via Apple In-App Purchase on iPhone or Google Play Billing on Android, either as an auto-renewing yearly subscription (which may include a free trial) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Free features remain free; Pro adds export, several vehicles, preset routes and reimbursement reports.
All payments are processed by Apple (charged to your Apple ID) or Google (charged to your Google account), depending on where you bought the App. Prices are shown in the App before purchase. The yearly subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period: on iPhone in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions, on Android in Google Play › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. The lifetime purchase is not a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Use Restore purchases to regain Pro on a new device.
The App, its design and software are owned by us and protected by Swedish, EU and international law. The trips, reports and other data you create are yours.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every trip will be recorded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including tax assessments, lost reimbursement, or lost data, arising from use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Swedish or EU law.
We may update the App and these Terms. Material changes will be noted in the App's release notes or on this page. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it.
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are handled by Swedish courts, without prejudice to consumer rights in your country of residence. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
Körlogg is an independent app and has no affiliation with Skatteverket.
