Privacy Policy for Habit Home

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Our privacy commitment

We don't like apps that harvest and sell user data. Habit Home does not do this.

Habit Home (App Store name: Habit Tracker – Habit Home) is built by an independent sole proprietor based in Sweden. There are no ads, no trackers, no analytics, and no accounts. Your habits are your business — this policy explains, in plain language, where your data lives and who can see it. The short version: you, and nobody else.

Data stored on your device

Everything you create in Habit Home is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

We never see any of it. There is no server of ours for it to be sent to.

iCloud sync

Habit Home can keep your data in sync across your devices using Apple's CloudKit. Your habits are stored in your private iCloud database — the part of iCloud only your Apple ID can access. It is encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest. We have no ability to read, access, or export it. Sync follows your device's iCloud settings; you can turn it off in iOS Settings at any time.

App lock (Face ID / Touch ID)

If you enable the app lock, authentication is handled entirely by iOS. Your biometric data never leaves your device and is never available to the app — iOS only tells us "unlocked" or "not unlocked".

Reminders and notifications

All reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Their content — habit names, times — never leaves it.

Purchases

Habit Home offers an optional Pro upgrade through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your name, payment details, or Apple ID. To validate purchases and let you restore them on a new phone, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service acting as our data processor. RevenueCat receives:

That's all. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for how they handle it.

Import and export

Exports are created only when you ask for one, saved wherever you choose, and never uploaded anywhere by us. Imported files are read on your device and nothing more.

What we do not collect

Deleting your data

You are always one step from a clean slate:

Children

Habit Home is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone, regardless of age.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, and erasure. Because we hold no personal data about you on any server, there is usually nothing for us to hand over or delete — your data is already exclusively in your hands. If you believe otherwise, or have any question, contact us and we will help: alagic.se@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date. A change will never quietly weaken the commitments above.
